Media given the runaround over Sosilawati’s case
PETALING JAYA: Speculation of three people being arrested in Banting in connection with the disappearance of beauty product millionaire Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya sent the media on a wild goose chase who travelled nearly 100km but returned empty-handed.
Getting wind of the arrests, members of the various print and electronic media rushed from Banting to Morib and later to Tanjung Sepat.
On the way there they heard that the three suspects had led the police forensics team to a few bodies buried at an oil palm plantation.
